Fabrics, Printing & Embroidery Disclaimer:

We use all sorts of fabrics, including pure silk & semi-pure silk, pure Tussar silk & semi-pure Tussar, pure & semi-pure Muslin, pure & semi-pure Mal, pure & semi-pure modal, etc., and many more fabrics.
All our prints, laces, and embroidery designs may marginally vary in each batch of the product. All photographs are for representation purposes and are shot to try & look as close as possible to the original product ordered but may have marginal color variations from the actual product.

We use digital prints, block prints, hand prints, hand & machine embroidery, different types of laces as well as organza laces for most of our products, and the positioning of artwork may be different from that displayed in the picture. Slight differences in color from the visible product image are possible. There are times when a camera or a computer monitor cannot match the perspective of an eye, and slight differences are unavoidable. The print might have slight irregularities in the motif & colors, which result from human & machine involvement in the process.

DO NOT IRON ON ORGANZA & NET LACES, PLEASE DRY CLEAN ONLY

Washing Care:

Handwash lightly with mild detergent. Do not soak any cotton dress & do not wash with another garment. Dry inside out in the shade. Dry clean is ideal but hand wash also works. Taking care of your clothes will keep them looking good & fresh for longer.

The following instructions will help you prolong the life of your cotton clothes:

  • Water is precious. Wash garments only when necessary. Airing them after every use will keep them fresh for use, a couple of times.
  • Wash your garments by hand. Do not put them in the washing machine or dryer.
  • All our cottons are either printed, digitally printed, embroidered, or hand-block printed.
  • There may be moderate shrinking of the fabric after washing.
  • Be careful when applying fragrances to handmade clothes, as the ingredients may cause your clothes to remove print or stain. It is best to spray lightly into the air in front of you and then walk directly into the spritz.
  • Some fabrics may shed excess color. Certain cotton mal & block-printed textiles are prone to excess bleeding. In such cases, it is advised to dry clean the garments using the services of a reputed dry cleaner. In other cases, wash the clothes carefully by hand.

Arrange:

Arrange clothes color-wise. Wash only similar color clothes together so that the other color does not disturb the colors.

Soaking:

Put a small quantity of mild detergent in a half-filled bucket of cold water. Soak the garment in the soapy solution for five to ten minutes. Do not soak for a longer duration. Pre-soaked garments must be washed immediately.

Rinsing:

The soiled areas can be rubbed gently by hand. Do not use a solid bar of soap or a brush. Rinse the clothes a few times in cold water to remove the detergent completely.

Drying:

Drying your clothes under the sun causes color-fading. Therefore, hang them out to dry in the evenings or in shade. Garments should be hung straight to dry on rust-proof hangers (either plastic or wooden).

Ironing:

Do not iron directly on hand-painted, embroidery, net laces, etc. Such clothes should be turned inside out and ironed lightly. Please take care of the organza fabrics & net with sequences while ironing.

Storage:

Store garments in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight. Keep whites and light-colored garments away from the darker-colored ones. Use aromatic sachets to dispel cupboard odors.

Silk & Silk Blend Garments:

Silk & other silk blend fabrics must be dry cleaned only. Store carefully in cloth covers with a few scented sachets.
